Rinalda and Dirk were engaged for their first joint jazz concert at the Theater Ono in Bern back in 2011. They quickly realised that they didn’t just share a passion for jazz music, but also for the chansons of the 30s. This inspired them to create a new programme, which combines these musical elements in a unique way. Rinalda’s wealth of acting experience complements Dirk’s incomparable piano playing perfectly.
Current Programme „Stadtklänge“: Rinalda Caduff, Dirk Raufeisen and Werner Pfiffner put together a programme focusing on various Swiss cities, with brief detours to Paris and New Orleans along the way. The songs convey the experiences and feelings they associate with these cities. Well-known jazz, blues and chanson hits complete the programme. |
Rinalda starred in a leading role in the Swiss TV sitcom „Café Bâle“ for 12 years. She has appeared on various stages throughout Switzerland during her career. Musicals and comedies in various theatres, as well as performances of her own programme show her enormous variety.
Dirk learned to play the guitar aged 6 and started classical piano lessons at 8. In 1988, he got to know many internationally-renowned jazz greats at the „Jazzfestival at Sea“, who engaged him time and time again since then. Numerous CD productions, radio and TV broadcasts bear witness to his skills.
